U20 Content Schedule

I mentioned earlier that we're going to focus on monsters here at U20, and we're developing a structure to get useful information into reader hands on a regular basis. Here's the thought process thus far.

  • Every Monday we offer, for free, a U20 original critter. This will take the form of a statistics block for 3.5 or 4e and a brief description. Essentially what you get from the MM, but it costs you nothing but time. Maybe I'll even throw in some of my own original "art."
  • Every Wednesday and Friday RPG Ike (that's me) blogs about a monster related topic. I'll focus on tips for running various critter types, or offer up new OGL rules you can use in your own games. If no topics are obvious, I'll pick a 3.5 or 4e monster and talk about that, or maybe convert the free critter from Monday to another D20 system or D&D edition.
  • Every month we'll release a new monster product into the store. We're still setting that up, in case you're wondering how to get there. These products will most often take the form of highly-developed monsters for a range of encounter levels, each with original artwork by a professional (not RPG Ike). You will be able to run these critters without ever having seen, or even heard, of them before. We're planning on offering them up for 2$ a pop, and we guarantee they're worth far more than that.
  • Every three weeks a new Table Manners article will make its way to U20. These are longer, more involved articles about anything RPG related. Want to contribute? Let us know.

That pretty much covers it. Does four free critters a month sound good to you? How about inexpensive downloads that will save you hours of preparation time and provide some of the best encounters you'll ever likely run? Advice, tips, and tricks are free (and possibly as valuable), but you'll also be getting a lot of those.

And all you have to do is subscribe. Bargain.

Let us know what you think.
