D&D is pure escapism, mixed with a massive creative outlet, a way to practice writing and design, and a reason to get together with friends. We have listed the benefits to playing elsewhere on this site, but above and beyond those, D&D is fun, and since you can create your own character and role in the party, and since you can create your own world to play in, it should appeal to anyone who likes games of any kind.

You should try D&D whether you're an adult, a child, or something else.
