Yes!

Dungeons and Dragons, or just about any other tabletop roleplaying game, is a great activity for your kids. Dungeons and Dragons develops problem-solving skills, teamwork, reading skills, communications skills, basic math skills, and (often) writing skills. No other passtime offers the same breadth of potential benefits, especially for younger kids. Best of all, anyone can play, even you parents.

Keep in mind that, strictly speaking, D&D isn't generally considered 'cool' (yet), and we would be remiss if we didn't mention that. This is made worse because It's a difficult game to describe to people who have never played, and it really doesn't help that there's a lot of misinformation readily available online.

The truth is that D&D can teach your kids a lot in a very fun way.
